Kenya is a super smart and fun
loving girl. She excels at anything we train her to do.
When she was competing in Rally Obedience she always wound up in the
top four ribbons, even when competing against her sister "Mazda"
(Herdabout Zoom Zoom Zoom CGN RN).
Her conformation, agility and obedience career has
been temporarily put on hold in order for her to have a litter or
two. Her first litter produced a fantastic group of puppies.
All just as smart and outgoing as Kenya,
and all are in performance homes.
We were so impressed with the quality of the
litter that we kept one boy puppy for ourselves, and called him "Ticket"
(Herdabout High Speed Chase) because as a puppy it was almost
impossible to catch him, the way he raced around the house and yard.
Kenya will hit
the conformation rings in the spring of 2011 as soon as she gets her
coat back up from having had her second litter of puppies. A
true "Sterling" daughter (Am Can
Ch Krentel Aberdale Silversmith ROM) with outstanding structure and
movement, Kenya will have no
problem getting those 10 points and earning her Canadian
conformation championship.
Along with a wonderful work ethic, she will excel
in any venue we train her for. She loves to work and she loves
her training time. When we are all relaxing and watching tv,
Kenya is sitting and staring at
us -- waiting for a command to do something. Her attention and
focus is remarkable.
Kenya also
possesses a strong herding instinct. Although she hasn't even
attained her Herding Instinct Certificate yet, we dare anyone who
doesn't believe us to try walking through our yard while
Kenya is there !
